Representatives of the FB&H Metalworkers ‘Unions and the FB&H Employers’ Association represented by the Director of Wagner Automotiv d.o.o. Mr. Mirsad Pestalic signed in Sarajevo 26.08.2016 Collective agreement on the rights and obligations of employers and workers for the activity of production and processing of metals in the FBiH, which will be valid for a year.
Mr. Mirsad Pestalic, a representative of the negotiating team of the Employers ‘Association – Employers’ Group for the field of metal production and processing, said that the existing collective agreement is in line with the new Labor Law and the General Collective Agreement, thus modernizing labor legislation in B&H. Pestalic also stated that the current collective agreement differs from the previous one in terms of past work, overtime, weekends and night work.
President of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of B&H Ismet Bajramovic points out that this example shows the level of social dialogue in B&H, adding that he wants collective agreements in other branches to be signed soon.
After the signing of the Collective Agreement on the Rights and Obligations of Employers and Workers for the Activity of Production and Processing of Metals in the FB&H (branch collective agreement), the so-called Pestalic said that the new contract was different from the previous one in terms of past work, overtime, weekends and night work.
